Maharashtra deputy CM Ajit Pawar on Monday tested positive for coronavirus. He has been admitted to Breach Candy hospital in Mumbai. Pawar tweeted that he is in good health and has been admitted only as a precaution. Earlier, former CM Devendra Fadnavis had also tested positive for Covid-19. A number other politicians in the state have contracted the virus. Maharashtra continues to be the worst-hit state by Covid pandemic with over 14.6 lakh cases and more than 43,000 deaths.
