The temperature is falling every day and the chill is almost unbearable in most parts of Northern India. But there are always people who feel cold way more than others. If you are one of them, know the reasons behind this and how to prevent it.

Iron deficiency

Lack of iron in our body prevents proper circulation of oxygen throughout the body. A person feels too cold in cases of iron deficiency. Add iron-rich foods in your diet.

Lack of vitamin B12

Like iron, vitamin B12 is also an essential nutrient for the red blood cells in our body and deficit of it also causes one to feel cold.

Sleep deprivation

Studies have shown that people who are sleep deprived, often have lower body temperatures. So, sleep the right amount to keep the chill away.

Low BMI

People with a BMI of 18.5 or less mostly feel cold much more than the rest of the population. Muscle mass is a key to maintaining body temperature and about 25% of body's natural heat is produced by muscles.
