Legendary actor Dilip Kumar laid to rest with full state honours

A legend laid to rest...

Wrapped in the tricolour, Dilip Kumar's final journey was witnessed by hundreds of fans and onlookers who gathered to pay their last respect.

Dilip Kumar's funeral was held at Juhu Qabrastan in Santacruz Mumbai with close family in attendance. 

Mumbai police officers accompanied the funeral procession from Dilip Kumar's residence in Bandra to Juhu Qabristan. 

Earlier in the day, fellow actors, and colleagues from the film fraternity bid a final farewell to the thespian.

The Bachchans offered their prayers at the funeral. Amitabh Bachchan with Abhishek Bachchan was present for Dilip Sahab's last rites. 

Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan, who Dilip Kumar treated like his son, was seen consoling an emotional Saira Bano, seated on the floor beside her as she broke down.

Actor Dharmendra who paid his final tribute to Dilip Kumar at his residence mourned the loss of a brother.

Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar, Anil Kapoor were also spotted outside late Dilip Kumar's residence before the late actor's last rites
