Kaun Banega Crorepati has completed 1,000 episodes. On the occasion, KBC host, Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan invited his daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda and granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda on the show. Big B's wife Jaya Bachchan also joined her family through video conferencing.
As Shweta asked her father how he felt about KBC completing 1,000 episodes, Big B had an emotional moment and broke into tears, recounting his journey with the show.
Big B revealed he was not doing well financially when he took up the show, as he was not getting many film offers.
Amitabh Bachchan has hosted KBC since its first episode was aired in 2000. However, the show's third season which aired in 2007, was hosted by superstar Shah Rukh Khan.
