Kangana Ranaut has to make corrections in her application submitted with the passport office in Mumbai as it had factual inconsistencies. The Bombay High Court has been told that officials would take expeditious decision as per procedure once changes are made.
Kangana's application said she had criminal cases pending against her. However, additional solicitor general informed the court that only an FIR had been lodged against her and criminal proceedings in that case are yet to begin.
The court has been told that if Kangana makes the necessary corrections in her application, the passport office would consider her plea to renew her travel document.
