Hyderabad based Gland Pharma will be producing and supplying up to 252 million doses of the Sputnik V COVID-19 vaccine for Russia.
The company in filing to the stock exchanges that it has entered into an agreement with the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) for the production of the vaccine.
Gland Pharma whose shares hit record high in trade, expects to start production post June and delivery by October this year. It however did not specify which countries it would supply the doses to.
