In what could spice up the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Congress Party newly-appointed chief for Uttar Pradesh has said that Rahul Gandhi will 'definitely' contest from his former constituency Amethi.
Ajay Rai, who was appointed as UP Congress chief on August 17, also told reporters that Priyanka Gandhi can contest the elections from any seat she wants if she chooses to enter electoral politics.
Rahul Gandhi is currently a Lok Sabha MP from Wayanad. He had contested from the Kerala seat as well as his legacy seat Amethi in 2019 but he lost the latter to Smriti Irani.
