With his recent remarks in London causing major controversy in the Indian Parliament, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on 16 March 2023 commented on the issue. He spoke to reporters while exiting the Parliament.

Earlier, Gandhi said to the news outlet NDTV that he did not give "any anti-India speech" in the UK.

Gandhi's comments came after both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were adjourned for 3 hours within minutes of convening.

While BJP MPs have been seeking Gandhi's apology for alleging that Indian democracy is under attack, the Opposition has renewed its push for a parliamentary probe into the Adani-Hindenburg issue.
