Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused the Opposition of being against science and technology, and India's progress in the sector.

He said that there were many attempts to sell foreign vaccines for Covid-19 in India, but the country surprised the world by successfully developing its own vaccine.

The PM added that efforts to defame Indian scientists were "seen till yesterday". He said that Indian vaccines helped fulfil the needs of 150 nations.
