Posters targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi put up in the national capital have led to a big police operation. Delhi police has reportedly filed more than 40 cases, and arrested at least 4 persons.

Around 2,000 posters saying "Modi Hatao, Desh Bachao" (Remove Modi, Save the Country) were removed from several places by police on 21 March 2023.

Police said that the arrests were made over charges of defacement and violation of press act as the posters did not mention the printing press' name.
