AAP MLA's 'phone stolen' during CM Arvind Kejriwal's roadshow for MCD elections

An MLA of the Aam Aadmi Party, and two others had their mobile phones allegedly stolen during a roadshow by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (north) Sagar Singh Kalsi said that MLA Akhilesh Pati Tripathi, AAP MLA Somnath Bharti's secretary and Guddi Devi claimed their phones were stolen during Kejriwal's roadshow in north Delhi's Malka Ganj for the upcoming municipal elections.

Police said that cases were registered and investigations are underway.

Thousands carrying Aam Aadmi Party flags and banners of Kejriwal gathered at Chandrawal Road as the chief minister held a roadshow in the area ahead of the upcoming municipal elections in Delhi.

Voting will take place on December 4, and results will be announced on December 7.
