Turtle gets caught in fishing net off Goa coast, spotted by Indian Coast Guard. See what happened next

A horrible incident was averted off the Goa coast, thanks to the Indian Coast Guard. During a routine patrol along the Goa coast, the attention of Coast Guard personnel was caught by a floating object.

When they approached it, it turned out to be a turtle caught in a fishing net. The turtle was struggling for its life. Coast Guard personnel brought the turtle onto their vessel, freed it from the tangled net, and then let it back into the Arabian Sea.

A video of the turtle being released into the sea was shared on Twitter.
