Kashmir: terror attack outside famous tourist spot; 9 civilians injured near Srinagar's Mughal Garden

In a fresh terror incident against civilians in Jammu and Kashmir, a grenade attack occurred near a famous tourist spot in Srinagar. Terrorists reportedly hurled a grenade outside the Mughal garden on the bank of the Dal Lake on 21 August 2022.

At least nine civilians were injured in the attack. Seven of the victims were admitted to the SMHS hospital, and two were taken to SKIMS hospital in Srinagar. The condition of all the injured civilians was reportedly stable.

The latest attack came just days after terrorists shot two Kashmiri Pandits in Shopian district. While Sunil Kumar died in the targeted terrorist strike, his brother Pintu Kumar was injured.\

Terrorists have been attacking either local civilians or migrant workers in the Union Territory in a series of attacks since late 2021.
