DK Shivakumar, the Congress leader hoping to become the next Karnataka Chief Minister, arrived in Delhi on the afternoon of May 16, 2023.
Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi was seen reaching the Delhi residence of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. The duo reportedly discussed who should be made the new CM.
Congress General Secretary Randeep Surjewala, who is in charge of the party's affairs in Karnataka, was also present at the meeting, PTI reported.
Shivakumar is expected to meet Kharge and Gandhis later.
