The Rajya Sabha once again witnessed uproar, sloganeering, and protests on 10 February as the government demanded an apology from the Opposition a day after the Prime Minister's speech.

Union minister Piyush Goyal said that the Opposition benches should tender an apology for heckling PM Modi's speech in the House a day earlier. Slogans like 'Modi Adani Bhai Bhai' and 'We Want JPC' echoed throughout Modi's statement.

When Leader of Opposition and Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge rose to object to the Chairman's decision to expunge some of his remarks against the government, MPs of the ruling side raised 'Modi Modi' chants.

Later, Congress and some other Opposition MPs staged a walkout from the Rajya Sabha.
