Hockey: India defeat Pakistan 4-3 to win bronze at Asian Champions Trophy

In a brilliant end to end game between India and Pakistan in Dhaka on Wednesday, it was Manpreet Singh's boys who came out on top as Team India beat arch-rivals 4-3 to secure a third-place finish & a bronze medal at the Asian Champions Trophy 2021.

India took the lead in the opening quarter of the game but Pakistan soon bounced back to ensure that the scoreline read 1-1 at the end of the first half.  

Pakistan then started the second half on a better note as they took a one-goal lead but India bounced back in the final quarter and wrapped up the proceedings with a thrilling win.

This is the first Bronze medal for India in the Asian Champions Trophy after being 3-time winners of the tournament.
