Pakistan's men's junior hockey team arrived in India on Saturday to participate in the men's junior World Cup as the neighboring nations look to further increase their people-to-people exchange after the opening of the Kartarpur border earlier this week.

The Pakistan juniors team who returned to India after 7 years received a warm welcome from Hockey India, missed the 2016 edition which was held in Lucknow due to visa-related issues. In 2016 the Pathankot incident and the Uri attack took place.

Pakistan had sent its senior Men's team to India last, for the World Cup in 2018, since then the players from across the borders had not come to India.

The men's junior World Cup will take place in Bhubaneswar's Kalinga stadium starting Nov 24th to December 5th.
