IndiGo has issued a statement after the Directorate General of Civil Aviation sought a response from the airlines on reports that suggested there was media mayhem in actor Kangana Ranaut's flight from Chandigarh to Mumbai with journalists flouting safety and social distancing protocols.
Reiterating that protocols were followed IndiGo said the cabin crew as well as the captain made announcements to restrict photography, follow social distancing, and maintain overall safety protocols time and again.
The airline also added that they have documented this matter in their post-flight report.
Reportedly aviation regulatory body decided to take action after videos showing media persons creating chaos in the IndiGo flight in order to get a reaction from Kangana after footage of BMC demolishing her Mumbai office went viral
