Hansal Mehta has unveiled the first look of his upcoming film,'Faraaz'. Starring Shashi Kapoor’s grandson Zahan Kapoor and Paresh Rawal’s son, Aditya Rawal.
Sharing the video promo of the film on on Instagram, Hansal Mehta wrote that in the face of violent adversity, humanity wins!
The film is based on Bangladesh's 7/16 terror attack, and looks gritty and emotional. ‘Faraaz’ will chronicle the events that took place on the night of July 1, 2016, in Dhaka where five young militants ravaged the upscale cafe and held over 50 people as hostages for nearly 12 hours.
The action-thriller has been produced by Anubhav Sinha and Bhushan Kumar.
Son of veteran actor Paresh Rawal, Aditya Rawal weighed in on the obvious question, on whether will fans end up comparing him to his father.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Aditya said, there is bound to be increased scrutiny but there are many advantages to having a parent in the same field too.
Aditya went on to say that he doesn't feel the pressure perhaps because his father is so ahead in the game, and has achieved so much that he doesn't even worry about being compared to a legend like him.
Kareena Kapoor also gave a shout out to her cousin, sharing the video on Instagram, she said, she was super proud of Zahan and can't wait to see him on the big screen.
