Fortnite creator Epic Games has filed a complaint against Apple with EU Antitrust authorities in a dispute over the iPhone maker's App store payment system. This comes after Epic Games had filed a lawsuit against the tech giant in a US court for dropping the wildly popular battle royale game from its app store. It all began back in August 2020, when Epic Games announced that it will offer a permanent 20 per cent discount on Fortnite's in-game currency if players purchase directly from Epic. Apple removed the game from its platfrom saying that this violated their app store guidelines, which would usually give them up to 30 per cent cut from in-app purchases.
