Jisoo, a member of K-pop group BLACKPINK, tested positive for Covid-19 on June 1.
The K-pop group's management company, YG Entertainment, made the same announcement on the fan site Weverse. The singer will be missing BLACKPINK's upcoming concerts in Japan.
The agency said in a statement, 'Hello, This is YG Entertainment agency reported. We would like to let you know that JISOO, a member of BLACKPINK, tested positive for COVID-19 on June 1. On May 30, JISOO tested himself after exhibiting minor cold symptoms. She initially tested negative, but on June 1st, she finally tested positive.'
BLACKPINK is scheduled to perform twice in Osaka on June 3 and 4. Fans won't be able to see Jisoo work her magic on stage, but Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa will still perform in accordance with the tour's schedule.
