Christopher Nolan's 'Oppenheimer' and Greta Gerwig's 'Barbie' released on July 21 and opened up with great reviews.
'Oppenheimer' is ruling at the Indian box office, but 'Barbie' has impressive international figures.
As per trade website Sacnilk, 'Oppenheimer' earned ₹17 crore nett on the second day. Its total stands now at ₹31.50 crore. The film earned ₹13.50 crore on the first day of its release.
'Barbie' has earned ₹6.50 crore nett in India on its second day, which takes its total earnings to ₹11.50 crore so far. The film earned ₹5 crore on its opening day.
According to Hollywood Reporter, 'Barbie' is expected to earn $150 million in the US through the weekend and another $120 million from as many as 70 worldwide territories.
On the other hand, 'Oppenheimer' is reportedly eyeing $165 million weekend worlwide.
