Ed Sheeran and Chris Martin surprised fans gathered at the Global Citizen Festival in New York. Central Park in New York witnessed some unbelievable moments when globally acclaimed singers performed a surprise medley set together comprising of some of their chart-buster tracks.
Ed Sheeran and Chris Martin performed four acoustic songs beginning with Coldplay's 'Yellow'. The duo then transitioned to Sheeran's 'Shape of You', followed by 'Viva La Vida' and concluded with a piano rendition of Ed Sheeran's 'Thinking of You'.
Only Chris Martin was announced to attend the festival as a guest speaker but Ed Sheeran surprised everyone by taking on the stage. Before this, Ed Sheeran also made surprise appearances at Indian singer Diljit Dosanjh and Arijit Singh's concerts.
Besides Chris Martin and Ed Sheeran, there were several other artists in attendance. BLACKPINK's Lisa debuted her unreleased new song 'Moonlit Floor' at the festival.
