Late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala’s song ‘Vaar’ was released on the occasion of Guru Nanak Gurpurab on YouTube. It has been shared on Moosewala's official Instagram handle with the caption: ‘Until the lions have their own historians, the history of the hunt will always glorify the hunter. Vaar Playing Now..!’

Soon after the song was released, it started trending on social media. Many fans have dropped heart and fire emojis, while a few commented that legends never die.

This is Sidhu’s second song to be unveiled after his killing in May this year. His song ‘SYL’ was released after his death and it received 25 million views on YouTube in just two days. It even made it to the Billboard record list. However, the song was removed from YouTube following legal issues by the government.

Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead on May 29, 2022, in Punjab. His killing had sent shockwaves across the nation with politicians, Bollywood actors, and sportsmen mourning his death.
Sidhu wrote his first song in 2016. He started his journey as a singer in 2017 with a duet song ‘G Wagon’.
