Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's daughter Suhana Khan will soon be making her Bollywood debut with the Netflix film 'The Archies'.
Now, rumours are rife that SRK will make a special appearance in the forthcoming film.
According to Hindustan Times, this project is special to Shah Rukh as it marks Suhana's entry in the industry and he wanted to be a part of it in some way.
A source said that either SRK has a special appearance or he's the narrator in the web film.
‘He is connected to the project, and it is a special one for him as it marks Suhana’s entry in the industry. He wanted to be part of the project in some way, due to which he has a special connection to it,’ an insider said.
The inside added, ‘He has either a cameo appearance or he is onboard as a narrator in the web film.’
‘The whole team is hush hush about his involvement, as they want to keep it a surprise. That being said, it will definitely be a special one for him and his fans,’ the source said.
The highly anticipated project is based on ‘The Archies’ comics.
It also marks the acting debuts of veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda, and actor Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor’s daughter Khushi Kapoor. The Zoya Akhtar directorial also stars Dot, Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja, and Yuvraj Menda in the lead roles.
‘The Archies’ is all set to release on Netflix on December 7.
Shah Rukh Khan’s professional front
This year, Shah Rukh was seen in ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Jawan’, which worked well at the box office. He will next be seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Dunki,’ which will clash with Prabhas’ ‘Salaar’. The film, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, also stars Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal. It will be released in theatres on December 22.
