Actor Swara Bhasker and political activist Fahad Ahmad, who registered their marriage a few weeks ago, are celebrating their marital union. After a grand haldi, mehendi and sangeet ceremony, the couple hosted a qawwali night on Wednesday.
Besides their family and close friends, Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav was also part of the celebrations. He was welcomed by Fahad and later seen interacting with Swara at length.
Swara Bhasker and Fahad Ahmad were seen sitting close to the stage and enjoying the qawwalis.
On Thursday, a reception will be held in Delhi for family and friends. Actors like Sonam Kapoor and Divya Dutta are likely to mark their presence.
