Many stars attended the 72nd NBT Awards in Mumbai on November 15. Celebrities like Janhvi Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra, Rakul Preet Singh, Mrunal Thakur, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Raveena Tandon, Shilpa Shetty, Rohit Saraf, Shabana Azmi, Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis were among others who were present at the event.
Sidharth Malhotra, who bagged the 'NBT Maha Utsav Best Actor Award' for his performance in 'Shershaah', took to Instagram and shared a video of him receiving the award from Fadnavis. The video was captioned, 'Grateful and humbled to receive the ‘NBT Maha Utsav Best Actor Award’ for my contribution towards Hindi Cinema through #Shershaah from our Hon. Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis'.
Actor Siddhant Chaturvedi bagged 'Youth Icon award' at the event. He also shared a video on Instagram and wrote a heartfelt note for his grandfather in his native dialect, Bhojpuri.
Rohit Saraf, recently featured in the Second Season of Netflix's 'Mismatched', won the 'Gen Z Star Of The Year Award' at the ceremony. He thanked NBT for the honour through an Instagram post.
NBT Utsav was held to recognise excellence in the areas of Entertainment, Business, Sports, and Social.
