Filmmaker-actor Farhan Akhtar and television personality Shibani Dandekar’s pre-wedding festivities began in Mumbai on Thursday with a Mehendi and Haldi ceremony.
Several videos and photos have been doing the rounds on social media in which Farhan’s Mumbai home was seen all decked up for the pre-wedding festivities.
Farhan’s stepmother and veteran actor Shabana Azmi was seen decked in a mustard outfit for the festivities, which she accessorised with gold jewellery.
Shibani’s younger sister Anusha Dandekar looked resplendent in a yellow frilled saree. Apeksha was seen in a pastel blue dress adorned with pompom jewellery.
Amrita Arora also dazzled in her yellow outfit as she arrived for Farhan and Shibani’s Mehendi function.
Actor Rhea Chakraborty, who shares a close bond with Shibani, arrived at Farhan’s house.
They were all later seen grooving on the terrace to mark the auspicious occasion.
Farhan and Shibani, who have been dating for a while now, will tie the knot at Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi’s Khandala farmhouse on February 19.
