Riding on the success of Kabir Khan's '83', fans may get to see Ranveer Singh in many more biopics.

Fans and critics have praised Ranveer's performance in '83', a sports drama based on the Indian cricket team's 1983 World Cup victory. Ranveer played Kapil Dev and his resemblance to the veteran cricketer was uncanny.

In an interview with The Times of Inda, Ranveer said, he has now been approached for several biopics, three of which are based on sportspersons. The report further said, one of these biopics is based on a paraplegic swimmer, and the actor was asked if this is true.

Ranveer said, "I guess we should rather wait and give this time, those 5 biopics are all in different stages of development and hopefully one of them will develop into an extraordinary script and you will hear an official announcement soon."

Ranveer Singh will next be seen with Alia Bhatt in Karan Johar's directorial venture, 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani'. He also stars in Rohit Shetty's next film 'Cirkus', the film’s cast also includes Jacqueline Fernandez, Pooja Hegde, Varun Sharma, and Murli Sharma.
