Actor Rajkummar Rao is gearing up for the release of his forthcoming film 'Monica, O My Darling,' co-starring Radhika Apte and Huma Qureshi. The actor recently confirmed the sequel of his much-anticipated horror-comedy 'Stree' alongside Shraddha Kapoor.
In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, he said, 'I think makers will have to take that decision, Hopefully, Stree 2 will happen soon, and yes definitely there is a possibility of getting this horror universe made. It will be exciting.'
The actor also mentioned that the shoot of the film is expected to begin soon.
Earlier, Shraddha Kapoor shared a BTS video of the dance track ‘Thumkeshwari’ on her Instagram account. In the video, the actor mentioned that she will begin shooting for 'Stree 2' soon.
The 'Aashiqui 2' actor said, 'Stree is back. Super vibe, it’s so nice to be back on set. It’s so exciting for me because we are going to start Stree 2 very very soon.'
On the work front, Rajkummar Rao's 'Monica, O My Darling' releases on Nov 11, 2022, while Shraddha Kapoor will be next seen in Luv Ranjan's untitled co-starring Ranbir Kapoor.
