Rajinikanth visits Uddhav Thackeray and his family in Mumbai

On Saturday, actor Rajinikanth visited former chief minister and Shiv Sena leader Uddhav Thackeray and his family at their Mumbai home, Matoshree.  Rajinikanth arrived in Mumbai on Friday.

Aditya Thackeray, the son of Uddhav, shared a photo of himself and Rajinikanth on Instagram . 'An absolute delight to have Rajinikanthji at Matoshri once again', he wrote as the caption for the photo. Along with Thalaiva, the picture includes Uddhav, his wife Reshmi, and their two sons Aditya and Tejas. Rajinikanth was welcomed with a bouquet of flowers in the picture.

This meeting is completely 'apolitical' ,according to sources.Rajinikanth paid a courtesy visit to Matoshri while he was in Mumbai for some obligations, according to sources. Additionally, it has been reported that Rajnikanth was a huge fan of Bal Thackeray's cartoons.

A fan replied to Aditya's post. 'Power of the matoshree', one person wrote. One more person said, "Super duper!" 'Thailava At Matoshri', a second person added. 'Powerful people make places powerful', someone else added.

Rajinikanth was spotted on Friday at the opening ODI between India and Australia at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium.The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) extended an invitation to Rajinikanth to attend the game.

Several images were published on MCA's Twitter account. Rajinikanth can be seen playing the game with MCA President Amol Kale in the picture.

The post was captioned as , 'Thalava in the residence...During the #INDvAUS game at the Wankhede, Mumbai Cricket Association President Mr. @Amolkk1976 and Superstar @rajinikanth were conversing'.
