In a post shared on Instagram, Pandey said that with her social media gimmick, she intended to shock everyone into the conversation around cervical cancer. She also apologised for the hurt her actions have caused but added that she's proud of what her "dead news has been able to achieve" as suddenly everyone is talking about cervical cancer.

Now, Poonam's 'I'm alive' post has ignited an outrage among netizens who are now bashing the 'Nasha' actor. Many took to social media to condemn Poonam's latest post, criticisng her 'distasteful' post.
