Koffee With Karan 7 : The recent episode of ‘Koffee with Karan 7’ marked the debut of Samantha Prabhu along with Akshay Kumar on the show. In the conversation with host Karan Johar, Samantha was asked who she thought was currently the biggest female actor in the South.
Referring to her recent release ‘Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal’, the actor said, ‘Well, I just did a film with Nayanthara,’ and added that she thinks Nayanthara is the biggest actor. Karan responded, ‘Well, not on my list!’
The comment of filmmaker Karan Johar didn’t go well with fans of Nayanthara. Fans took to social media and bashed him. They felt that he was ‘needlessly throwing shade’ at Nayanthara.
One user wrote, ‘Karan, just shut up, dude; don’t mess with the south.’
Another user wrote, ‘Never trust Dharma Productions and Karan Johar. Karan is behaving like Chachi of Maholla’.
