Janhvi Kapoor and Ram Charan launch 'RC 16' with a pooja ceremony, WATCH

Janhvi Kapoor and Ram Charan attended the launch ceremony of their upcoming film, tentatively titled 'RC 16', on Wednesday. Along with the lead pair, the film's makers, as well as Ram's wife, Upasana, father Chiranjeevi, and Janhvi's father, Boney Kapoor, also attended the event. For the event, Janhvi opted for a stunning saree. 

About 'RC16' 

Poised to be the second pan-India film for Charan after the magnum opus 'RRR',  'RC16' has been directed by Buchi Babu Sana, who made his debut with the national award-winning 'Uppena'. The film has been presented by the Mythri Movie Makers and produced by Vriddhi Cinemas and Sukumar Writings. The music is composed by A.R. Rahman.

Janhvi's South debut 

After garnering critical acclaim for her impressive acting chops in Bollywood, Janhvi is ready to take the Telugu film industry by storm. She is set to make her big debut down south with 'Devara,' headlined by Jr. NTR and also featuring Saif Ali Khan.  The Koratala Siva directorial will be released in October this year. 

Janhvi's upcoming projects also include 'Mr. and Mrs. Mahi', which sees her reunite with her 'Roohi' co-star Rajkummar Rao. She also has 'Ulajh' in the pipeline and  will also star alongside Varun Dhawan in 'Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.'
