Filmmaker Hansal Mehta is now married! He tied the knot with his longtime partner, Safeena Husain, in an intimate ceremony in San Francisco, California, US. While the filmmaker has delivered several award-winning films, Safeena works for the education of girls.
Hansal took to his Instagram handle and shared pictures from the beautiful wedding ceremony on May 25. He captioned the post, 'So after 17 years, two children, watching our sons growing up and chasing our respective dreams we decided to get hitched. As always in life, this was also impromptu and unplanned. Our vows, however, were truthful, and but for this little ceremony, they would never have been said. Ultimately love prevails over all else. And it has.'
In the pictures, Hansal Mehta can be seen wearing a brown blazer and a T-shirt, while Safeena Husain looks stunning in a pink salwar suit.
Filmmakers Vishal Bhardwaj and Anubhav Sinha, actors Rajkummar Rao and Manoj Bajpayee, and chef Ranveer Brar, whom Hansal recently directed in 'Modern Love Mumbai,' extended wishes to the newlywed couple on social media.
