Veere Di Wedding (2018)

The film revolved around the friendship of four girls who go through the ups and downs of their life. Swara stole the show with her bold performance as a liberated woman who moves out of her husband’s place.

Anaarkali Of Aarah (2017)

Swara played the role of a dancer from Bihar who gets harassed during a show by a politician and receives no support from the police. However, she defies all the odds to come out clean. The film didn’t perform well at the box office, but Swara received a lot of praise for her performance.

Nil Battey Sannata (2015)

Swara’s character had limited screen time, but she managed to impress the audience with her strong performance. She played the role of Bindiya, who loved Dhanush’s character even though he has feelings for another woman.

Tanu Weds Manu (2011)

Cast: R. Madhavan, Kangana Ranaut, Jimmy Sheirgill, Swara Bhaskar
Swara played the role of Payal, Tanu’s (played by Kangana) best friend.
Her character had her own life and a distinct voice in the film. She did not mince her words even when it came to her best friend. Her performance in the film was well received by critics as well as the audience and she earned a Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress nomination.
