The Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani-starrer ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ is getting bigger and better.
According to reports, Vidya Balan who played the female lead in 2007 film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ is set to reprise her role in the sequel.
In the Priyadarshan directorial, Vidya played the role of Avni Chaturvedi, who transforms into Manjulika, the ghost of a royal dancer.
Meanwhile, Aneez Bazmee has also confirmed the development. Calling Manjulika his ‘favourite character’, Bazmee said, ‘If the film is Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Vidya has to be there in 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2', Let the rest be a surprise!’.
Also starring Tabu in the pivotal role, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ will hit theatres on March 25, 2022.
