All Anushka Sharma fans take a deep breath as after a hiatus of almost 3 years, the actress is back with a bang with the lead role in ‘Chakda Xpress’.
The film is inspired by the life of one of women cricket’s all-time greatest players, Jhulan Goswami.
The filmmakers have dropped the biopic’s first teaser which shows Anushka acing her character as one of the fastest female pacers in the history of world cricket.
‘Chakda Xpress’ will trace the glorious journey of Jhulan Goswami as she moves up the ladder despite the countless hindrances posed by misogynistic politics to fulfil her only dream which is to play cricket.
Produced by Anushka Sharma, Jhulan’s biopic ‘Chakda Xpress’ will start filming soon and will be releasing as a Netflix original.
