'Bheed' Twitter review: Rajkummar Rao, Bhumi Pednekar's performance impresses netizens

'Bheed', starring Rajkummar Rao, and Bhumi Pednekar, is out in theatres. Directed by Anubhav Sinha, the film shows how migrant workers were stuck without basic needs after Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for a nationwide lockdown in an effort to contain the COVID-19 pandemic and their struggles as they attempted to find their way home. The film has majorly impressed the netizens but a few seem disappointed.

Calling it a one-time watch, a user tweeted, #Bheed is good movie, story revolves around the situation of pandemic.  Brilliant performance @RajkummarRao & @bhumipednekar delivers as expected.'

Another user appreciated the director's choice of cast and tweeted, 'With #Bheed, @anubhavsinha has managed to pull a casting coup as he has brought together talented actors like @RajkummarRao, @bhumipednekar, #PankajKapur, @ranaashutosh10 etc and extracted fine performances from them.'

Appreciating the actors, a user wrote, 'Well acted, sincerely made, honest. watch #Bheed. kudos to @anubhavsinha @RajkummarRao is brilliant as is @bhumipednekar @deespeak @ranaashutosh10 Anubhav Sinha’s ‘Bheed’ delivers a brash reminder of mass suffering, systemic failure.'

A section of netizens is not impressed with the film, here's what they say.

Criticising the film, a user called it boring and wrote, 'Boring bakwaas propaganda film #Bheed is flop movie don't watch it go for any other movie they are only showing one side of the COVID situation we all know how our government tried the best to cope up with the situation.'
