Director Ayan Mukerji, whose film ‘Brahmastra Part One: Shiva’ had a successful theatrical run last year, has shared when he plans to release the second and third instalments of the franchise. Taking to social media, he mentioned that ‘Brahmastra’ 2 and 3 will be bigger and more ambitious than part one, but they need a little time to perfect the scripts of the forthcoming movies.
He added that he has decided to release both the films closer together, Sharing the timeline, he mentioned that ‘Brahmastra’ part two will release in December 2026 and ‘Brahmastra’ part three will release in December 2027.
Ayan further shared that he has bagged an opportunity to step into and direct a very special movie, details of which he will share at the right time.
Concluding his note, he wrote, ‘Opening myself to all positive energies in this universe so I can do my best and contribute to that one thing that matters the most to me – Indian cinema.’
