Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday held a meeting with Chief Ministers of 10 states that are the worst hit by coronavirus. Supply of life saving medical oxygen has not been able to match the ever growing demand in the wake of the alarming rise in caseload. The PM has in Friday’s meeting asked all states to ensure that tankers carrying oxygen to other states must not be stopped or delayed. His direction follows Delhi Chief Arvind Kejriwal’s complaint that some states were stopping medical oxygen being transported to the national capital.
