Honey Singh appeared before Delhi's Tis Hazari District Court in a domestic violence case filed against him by his wife Shalini Talwar on Friday.
The Delhi court said Honey Singh's parents named as accused in Shalini Talwar's complaint will have to appear for an online hearing on September 28. Shalini's demand for compensation of ₹20 crore will also be heard on the next hearing date.
Metropolitan magistrate counselled Honey Singh and his wife in her chamber and said Shalini will visit her matrimonial home on Sunday with two lawyers and the protection officer to take her belongings from there. The entire visit will be videographed. Both Honey Singh and Shalini Talwar have agreed to this visit.
Further the court said there are different versions of how Shalini left her matrimonial home. While Shalini claimed she was thrown out on March 20, Honey Singh said she left the house on March 16 at her own will.
The interim order has restrained Honey Singh from disposing of their jointly owned property
