Fans loved John Cena as Peacemaker in The Suicide Squad earlier this year. At the DC FanDome event, producers shared a closer look at his quirky anti-hero character.
John Cena is here to make Peace, but not without a whole lot of humour.
The nearly 3-min long trailer shows how the Peacemaker and his friends believe they are different from villains, as they believe in peace at any cost, no matter how many people they have to kill to get it.

The trailer also teased Peacemaker's very friendly eagle, who rides shotgun with Cena.
'Peacemaker' is an eight-episode HBO Max series, that releases January 13, next year.

Peacemaker' is the first of several high-profile live-action shows set to spin-off out of Warners’ DC movies. Matt Reeves’ The Batman expected to have a Gotham PD-focused show as well.
