People allegedly belonging to the ranks of the Bajrang Dal ran amok at a mall in Gujarat's Ahmedabad while protesting against Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming move 'Pathaan'.

The protestors were seen tearing cut-out posters of the movie, and even bringing down a temporary arch with movie's promotional material. The incident occurred in the Karnavati area on 4 January 2023.

The movie sparked a controversy after right-wing groups objected to a saffron-coloured outfit worn by Deepika Padukone in the song 'Besharam Rang'.
