Weeks after the death of a baby allegedly at the hands of her mother shocked Delhi, a similar crime has again been reported from the national capital.
In the latest incident, a woman allegedly strangled her 3-month-old baby after a fight with her husband. The woman allegedly tied a thread around the baby's neck and murdered it, as per news agency PTI. The incident reportedly occurred in Delhi's Shalimar Bagh on April 14.
The accused woman had had an argument with her husband over some domestic issue, and when he left for work, she killed the baby in a fit of rage, police were quoted as saying. The mother has been arrested, and the baby's body has been sent for post-mortem before being handed over to the family.

On March 21, a baby had been found inside a microwave oven at a house in Delhi's Chirag Dilli. The baby, who had allegedly had injuries on her face, was found after a hectic search. Subsequently, the family had blamed the baby's mother.
