Air India case: man who urinated on woman a Mumbai resident; will arrest at earliest, say Delhi Police

A day after the incident of a man urinating on a woman passenger on an Air India flight came to light, Delhi Police said that they are set to arrest the accused.

Air India on 4 January 2023 said that it had banned the man for 30 days, pending the conclusion of an internal inquiry.

On 5 January, Delhi Police said that the man in question is a resident of Mumbai, but he is currently believed to be in a different state, and a police team has reached the location to take him into custody.

The incident took place in November 2022 on a flight from New York to Delhi. The man was allegedly drunk.
