A day after former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, asking details of Covid-19 vaccination distribution for the next six months, Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan on Monday asked Singh to urge his Congress party members to follow his advice.

In a detailed reply to Singh’s letter, Vardhan wrote people in responsible positions in Congress party as well as in the state government formed by the Opposition party do not seem to share his view.

On Sunday, Singh wrote to PM Modi saying that the country is “facing an unprecedented emergency” and asked the Centre to make public details of the orders placed by the Government for Covid vaccine doses and indicate the strategy for them to be distributed in a transparent manner.
