Resignations flooded state government offices in Virginia as the Governor of the US state pushed employees back into the office.

The return to office plan, initially announced on May 5, requires employees who wish to remain working from their homes to undergo an extensive approval process that includes a signature from Governor's own chief of staff.

As per reports more than 300 employees from five state agencies have resigned since the state’s telework policy changed.

Among the complaints with return to office, were the rising cost of gas, continued concerns over health and safety due to Covid and overall efficiency in their job due to being able to work from home.
