That is a million or rather billion dollar question, as per Forbes 'The Crown' through the the Firm (which actually goes by “Monarchy PLC”), holds nearly $28 billion in assets. The Crown Estate however technically belongs to the reigning monarch not the queen personally, how rich is the queen then and how does she get her money?

As per documents released by the UK govt, Queen Elizabeth II was given 86.3 million pounds for 2020 and it is labelled as the Sovereign Grant.
So who really pays the bill for this pocket money ? As per reports the average tax payer in the United Kingdom contributes just 1.29 pounds towards the royal kitty.
