Ola boss Bhavish Aggarwal's video showing off his dance moves on ‘Bijlee Bijlee' had an opposite impact to the intended marketing for the electric scooter's music feature.

As one scrolled down from the main post, netizens flooded the comments section redirecting the Ola founder's attention to the issues they are facing with Ola's EVs. While some users complained about the delay in delivery of their scooters, few referred to the incident that happened in Pune, last month when Ola’s newly launched S1 Pro electric scooter caught fire.

Following the fire incident, the company announced an internal probe and Bhavish so circulated an internal memo stating that he is taking a step back from day-to-day operations and is focusing more on engineering issues.

Meanwhile EV maker PURE has recalled 2,000 scooters after one of its electric vehicle (EV) batteries exploded claiming one life and leaving two others injured in Telangana.
